Centennial Celebrations
The Spy Hill Centennial Committee hosted the 100th birthday celebrations for the Village and RM of Spy Hill. The celebrations ran from Friday, August 6 to Sunday, August 8, 2010.
Friday August 6
- Registration at the Spy Hill Rink at 5 pm
- Hamburgers and hotdogs served outside the rink
- Family dance in the rink
- Fireworks at dark
Saturday August 7
- 9-11:00: Pancake breakfast
- 10:00: Parade starting at the rink
- 10:00: Slo-pitch games at the sports grounds
- Horse races in the sports grounds, face painting, air bouncers for the little ones, museum tours, old time equipment show in Duncan Construction parking lot
- 6:00: Pork and Beef Supper
- 9:00: Cabaret in the rink
Sunday August 8
- 9-12:00: Brunch
- 11:00: Interdenominational church service
- Birthday cake served following church service
- Slo-pitch games at the sports grounds
- Museum tours, old time equipment show, air bouncers
- 5:00: Chicken supper
- Horse chariot races
